Roberta Gately
About
Roberta Gately, R.N., BA, is a nurse-reviewer at Crowe & Harris, LLP . She is involved in the review, evaluation, and ongoing support of medical cases at Crowe & Harris. She brings to the firm over 35 years of nursing experience in the areas of Emergency Medicine and Primary Care. Her ER experience was at Boston’s largest Trauma Center and involved the acute care of critically ill patients. Her Primary Care experience includes the care of both pediatric and adult patients. Roberta earned her Registered Nurse degree from the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Emmanuel College. She is pursuing her Master’s in Healthcare Management at Cambridge College.
A former humanitarian aid worker, Roberta has written for the Journal of Emergency Nursing, Nursing Spectrum, the Huffington Post, and the BBC.
Roberta is also a novelist–Lipstick in Afghanistan and The Bracelet– were published by Simon & Schuster. Her next book – Footprints in the Dust –will be released by Pegasus Books in the Fall of 2018. She brings her special attention to detail, so vital in her writing, to her medical review work at Crowe and Harris.
Roberta spends her spare time with family and friends, and when time allows–reading.
